چکیده

Abstract This paper deals with an inverse data envelopment analysis (DEA) based on the non-radial slacks-based model in presence of uncertainty employing both integer and continuous interval data. To this matter, suitable technology formulation for DEA are proposed using arithmetic partial orders numbers. The is discussed from following question: if output $$DMU_o$$ D M U o increases $$Y_o$$ Y to $$\beta _o$$ β , such new DMU given by $$(\alpha _o^*,\beta )$$ ( α ∗ , ) belongs technology, its inefficiency score not less than t-percent, how much should inputs increase? A offered respond previous question, whose Pareto solutions characterized solution a related multiple-objective nonlinear programming (MONLP). Necessary sufficient conditions input estimation when increased. functional example presented illustrate methodology, variables.

Inverse DEA Model with Fuzzy Data for Output Estimation

In this paper, we show that inverse Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) models can be used to estimate output with fuzzy data for a Decision Making Unit (DMU) when some or all inputs are increased and deficiency level of the unit remains unchanged.

Using MOLP based procedures to solve DEA problems

Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is a technique used to evaluate the relative efficiency of comparable decision making units (DMUs) with multiple input-output. It computes a scalar measure of efficiency and discriminates between efficient and inefficient DMUs. It can also provide reference units for inefficient DMUs without consideration of the decision makers’ (DMs) preferences. In this paper, ...

Dynamic DEA: A slacks-based measure approach

In data envelopment analysis, there are several methods for measuring efficiency change over time, e.g. the window analysis and the Malmquist index. However, they usually neglect carry-over activities between consecutive two terms. These carry-overs play an important role in measuring the efficiency of decision making units in each term as well as over the whole terms based on the long-term vie...

Network DEA: A slacks-based measure approach

Traditional DEA models deal with measurements of relative efficiency of DMUs regarding multiple-inputs vs. multiple-outputs. One of the drawbacks of these models is the neglect of intermediate products or linking activities. After pointing out needs for inclusion of them in DEA models, we propose a slacks-based network DEA model that can deal with intermediate products. Using this model we can ...
